Some years ago, Booking.com wanted to acknowledge the dedication of their partners in realizing great guest experiences. This is how the Guest Review Award was born; a recognition and celebration of properties across the world.
Booking.com invited IGC International to not only design and produce this industry-leading award, but also to execute its worldwide distribution. One of the challenges was the fact that the awards needed to be personalized by property name and review score. After all, each property received a different score. There was also the request to have the complete package accompanied by a letter in one of forty-three languages, leading to a fully-customized solution.
IGC International hired UseeY to do a business and data analyses on the vast amount of data and come up with not only a business process for their factory, but a tracking solution for their client as well. We worked closely together with both Booking.com as with IGC International to make this customized solution into a great success story for all parties involved.
We implemented the business process in the factory, looked after the quality and effectiveness of the assembly process and made sure everything ran smooth. After assembly the awards needed to be sent to hundreds of countries. IGC International took care of the logistical process, while we build a tracking solution for Booking.com where the can see what the status of the production & shipment is for each individual award. The result? Smiles from Booking.com, IGC International and proud property owners all the way from Australia to Zambia.
Each year, the distribution number for the awards goes up – and we are at the side of IGC International to assist them in this project and help them solve any logistical challenge.
